(BLOSSVALE, NY-NOV. 1, 2008) - LINDA DUNN ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FOR APRIL 2009
After almost four decades, Beck’s owner, Linda Dunn, will close the doors on this chapter of hospitality as she makes plans to retire. “We have been blessed to have been able to provide the setting for so many customers to make wonderful memories in celebrations with family and friends,” said Dunn, who with her husband, Bill, hosted weddings, clambakes, picnics, parties, holidays and banquets for local families, businesses, and organizations starting in 1973.
With the Chatham Theater Company, the Dunns also offered dinner theater and their famous “all you can eat buffet” to entertain several hundred motorcoach groups from New York State and throughout the Northeast every year since 1985.
The final public event at Beck’s Grove will be two special St. Patrick’s Day dinner theater shows in March, 2009. All private events scheduled through April, 2009 will be honored.
Beck's Grove occupies 27 acres in Blossvale, New York, and has facilities for clambakes, barbeques and outside functions for up to 2,000 people; indoor weddings, parties and banquets for up to 250; and dinner theater for 180 people. The property will be sold after April 2009.
